Lighten up ladies... it was a joke about the McNeal situation. The same thing was brought up during Boyd's visit to Clemson, that their coaches are Christian... insinuating that ours are "worldly".

So back to topic real quick, when do we expect to hear more from Boyd? Shortly after the in homes are over? I know he has some date set for announcing and all that but will he say anything else prior to that?

It was dripping with sarcasm

.. some of us just need to lighten up.. end of story.
Back to Boyd please, he's ours unless.. a higher power intervenes, like CK!

I initially thought the two may be tied but I am not so sure. I certainly think Brown would view it as a positive to have Boyd on board. Brown and his family are not communicating the same way, and as openly, as Boyd and his is. Primarily you hear reports coming from the Brown camp from this Butler guy and he almost seems to be an angle shooter. You get conflicting messages and never really hear anything straight form the source. I will be totally stoked when and if Brown wheres the (I would say Green and Yellow but in reality I don't know what our Uni's will look like) uniform but that situation seems almost fishy to me. Brown has claimed we are the leaders and I can only go by that but all of this other garbage from their camp is getting old.

Hope for both, be happy with one, and well we have to get at least one. Right?

Is that really necessary? So what if the members of their coaching staff happen to be Christians? Personally, I think you're way out of line. You show zero consideration for the kids, their families, GOD or any other members of this forum. This is the type of opinion that should be kept to yourself.
Oh, and I personally don't care if you like me or not!
I make my living on the internet and I'm a member of several forums online, both paid and free, I've never seen such vulgar disrespect anywhere as I have here. The "moderator's" seem to stay on break and let this go on and on.
Mops, you have the opportunity to do great things with this forum, but it will NEVER become a professional entity online as long as you allow this type of behavior.
What's next guys? Evidently, bashing Christians is okay, are Negros, Jews, Hispanics, Women, etc on the agenda?
I'm MAD AS #$@&^!!! But I'm going to step back, chill out and pray for the offenders instead of letting it out here.
By the way, I don't own a high horse, but I do know the difference between right and wrong.
Hey SuperDuck, as long as you're calling people out, when did it become acceptable to call African Americans Negros again?

Man I was hoping this wouldn't end up happening. I guess it's human nature and to much to expect that we could have an enjoyable place to come and talk Duck sports. I am starting to feel like I am back on O-live only here it's Duck fans talking #*&* to Duck fans?

You are usually more "reserved" than I am with regards to jumping on recruits/liking our chances. And I'm not speaking negatively just in a matter of terms, so with that:
you are reading the same post I am from bflenory-
what do you think are chances are here?
sounds like it's us and Clemson.
I am normally more reserved. I usually choose to believe it when I see it. The reason I am more on board here is because Baron is really connected and I know how he is and that allows me to believe the hype here. My thoughts on if we get him come down to this. Is Mom going to give the okay? She worries about distance but also finances may play in a bit as well. THey plan on moving where Tajh goes. One of the quotes was asking Baron what he spent when he moved across the country. My only worry right now is will Mom sign off? In the end I think she will because parents want the best for their kids and most are willing to take on the world to give their children the best shot at life. Oregon is clearly that "best shot", per their quotes. So that is why I am really confident.
I just wanted to add that not only playing time is the issue Boyd wants to study Sports Marketing so that plays a big role here as well as our connection with Nike so we are in great shape...in that regard what does Clemson have to offer because I don't know? He's a Duck by next week!

It is for sure that is why the big three should not be discussed and because of the hyper-sensitively of the subjects those that are offended should send the person a PM and not turn it into something bigger than it is!
Our connection is Duck Sports and we don't always agree on that...
Lets Go Duck Fans!!

I didn't go to Oregon and have a question about the sports marketing department. Is it the masters program that gets the good publicity or under-grad or both?
I actually know a guy here in charlotte that got a masters in sports marketing at oregon a few years back.
Actually, if there are any sports marketing students looking for an internship in television feel free to PM me. I work for a national cable network (not ESPN).
After Jhops info I feel way more confident we land Boyd and I'm really excited about that potentially happening soon. Go Ducks!
