For a sellout this Oregon crowd is lame. The regional crowd was way livelier. Not sure why but just seems like a bunch of quiet old people who want to just sit with their arms crossed.

Not like Oregon has given them much to cheer about since the inning they scored in. They did get better in the 7th with Chambers getting easy outs.
Yeah I was gonna say they came alive in the 7th. I’m the type of fan though that I don’t rely on the team to lift me up, I make noise all game long, it’s a miracle if I still have my voice after a football game, even if it’s an 81-7 game against Portland State.
It’s just so unfortunate that this is literally a loophole and different reviewer might judge that this is fine and not an out but whoever is making the calls tonight in the replay center has determined it’s an out. Regardless the NCAA needs to add clarity about this tonight cause this literally has changed the outcome of the game.
Just texted a coworker that played college softball and she did say that it technically is the correct call, you are unable to lift your foot off the bag and replant it so it is technically an out. I wonder how long she’s been doing that without it being called.
Liberty used both their challenges in the 1st (winning one and losing one) on Luschar stealing bases so at least they won't have to worry about those anymore. But Grein gives up a HR to the first batter she faces. 1-0 Flames.
