I wonder if any of them have considered that maybe the Ducks learned from their mistakes in the Indiana game.bdkipe wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 12:17 am Iowa fans and media are weirdly confident, almost cocky about this game. It’s a head scratcher that they all seem to think, from everything I’ve read, that this is a pre-ordained win, based on the transitive property of sports… i.e. they gave IU a good game and blew out Wiscy, so clearly they are better than Oregon.
I imagine Dan is piling all this wood into the fire.
Or maybe that our game against Wisconsin was played in an intense rain storm, as well as losing our star QB for most of the second half?
Oh, and the fact that they only beat Rutgers on the road 38-28, where Oregon beat them on the road 56-10?
I can understand a good team and their fans having confidence. We do. But cocky would be stupid on the team's part and I can't image a veteran coach like Kirk Ferentz would allow his team to be stupid like that.
Take the field, execute the game plan, make adjustments, as needed, play hard, and let the dominoes fall as they will.
