I wouldn’t call that throwing shots, he’s talking about the unique motivation tool they had at there disposal, and it’s a great one.

I'm gonna throw the brakes on here. Lets not do this guys. Lets respect them this year. Facts. They have a great team. Facts. They whooped our ass when it counted. Ok, it is what it is. They outplayed us in every facet of the game. Ok fine, lets swallow it and look forward to next year. I wouldn't count out Lanning when it comes to revenge.

Doesn't matter. Even knight didn't donate a dime, Oregon will always be seen as the biggest spender as long as Nike exists.

Good post. I would add that Chip isn't even necessarily getting personal with Oregon as much as he is combating a narrative in the ruthless midwestern football media that he likely had to fight all year that he and Day got outcoached by Lanning in that first game.

It does make for a nice potential rivalry going forward. Hopefully the ducks can keep up their end of it.
