Ducks vs Them is literally messaging released to the public though, albeit post-game rather than pre-game. I see a difference in the tone between his treatment of USC and that of Washington, but I guess we can compare with next week's video - if Oregon wins. Nobody said he didn't want to destroy Washington. You could tell in the presser those three DeBoer losses still sting.
