Can anyone here honestly say they were watching the clock when Howard took off on the last play? I'm still in shock...
If he'd spiked the ball, they at least had a chance.

As soon as he left the pocket my eyes darted towards the clock and once he didn't slide down but ran a couple more I knew it was over. My calf is still tweaked from running down the hallway and i noticed in watching fan videos, a few people eye's went towards the scoreboards the moment he slid too.

When i saw 6 seconds left before the snap I told myself there was no way he could drop back, complete the pass for enough yards to get in field goal range, and then call timeout. I was surprised they didn't just hail Mary it at that point

Sorry if this has been mentioned already but that was apparently Oregon’s first win ever against an AP top 2 team.

Oregon's WRs showed that premier college receivers are almost always an advantage over premier college DBs. DB is just harder and takes longer to become great at. Think: Brandon Aiyuk vs Graham, Lenoir and Holland.

Strategically, it seemed like Oregon played to keep everything in front of them, so we didn't see as many pass breakups as we have in other games this season, but really kept the lid on Ohio State at the same time. Ohio State did the opposite, contesting more short stuff but getting burned deep. Pick your poison.

It says a lot about Gabriel and the OL that their stat lines were just as good against the best defense in the country (with respect to Texas and Penn State) as they have other opponents. The talent is there and they can be gamers. That's why a dumb pick 6 against UCLA doesn't mean more to me that willing a mediocre OU team to a win against Texas last year for DG.

Oregon didn't have an A game and still won. They showed the talent is there to win a natty, but they've really got to continue to fix their issues to get there. I bet DG wants about five of those short throws back and lots of other guys just made mistakes here and there that fortunately didn't cost the game.

Random aside- I'm finding it really amusing how each Ohio State and Michigan use Oregon as a stick to prod the other program with. We're the second favorite team of each fanbase the day after we beat their rival, it seems.

Go Ducks.

One last thing- There was only one sack by either team in the game yesterday, which is when Howard went down in the face of pressure. I didn't expect that going in.

It's a helluva statement for the OL to have given up 0 sacks while simultaneously getting 5 ypc. We know that UM's DL is just as if not more talented than that one last night.

Seen this too, and I'm not sure what some of these Michigan fans are thinking considering their turn is coming.

Hilarious to see the dichotomy between this board and Ohio’s. On this board, Stein is questioned for his play calling and complaints flying in as he puts up 32 on likely the most talented D in the NCAA this year. On their board, they’re talking about how their D coordinator was completely outcoached and they’re calling for his head.

Most are calling for the DC’s head and some are calling for the HC’s head, my question to them in regards to the HC is whom are they going to get that is better than RD? They would have to take a chance on a young and up and coming coach, that just isn’t in their “tradition” as a progrum.

Funniest thing I've heard in an OSU fan reaction video is referring to Denzel Burke as Denzel Burnt...

That’s a nice apology……. IMHO he still needs to sit next week. Spitting on someone is one of the most disrespectful and dehumanizing actions there is let alone in the face and is a criminal act.

I will say, I watch a lot of college football and honestly, Days team do seem to choke in every single big time game they play. Now obviously they didn't choke last night, they are a damn good team, but they didn't win.
