You can sort players by their ratings (Inside, Outside, Handling, Defense, Rebounding). That might give you an idea of who some of the top players are.

Pretty much this. For instance I wanted good defense and Ewing and Olajuwon were both A+ defense at the center position so they were near the top of my list. If you want a good PG(most do in this sim) then look for good handles.

Click on the category and sort by the rankings, the general rule of thumb is the higher all around player (or reb and def for forwards). You want to get a team that has a good balance of most skills. Handling players slot in as PGs, scorers at SG and SF, PFs and C usually rebound and block, etc. Like malone or barkley is really good inside and rebounding so they are both solid choices.

I decided to CPU the Lakers. They take John Stockton.

Hawks are up, no GM for them? CPU'ing.

Bulls, Jazz and Magic up next. Get draft lists in guys.

Sure, I can swap em. Although Malone went next. So you can take anyone outside of Malone. Also I'd highly recommend giving me your cell so I could text you next time. No worries tho!
