Haha! I am a grown man, mature, old in fact, but somehow I can't help but smile at this.

Saw some people on a softball forum downplaying Oregon's win by saying the Ducks were facing LSU's #2 and 3 pitcher, not their ace. Don't know if that's the case but Oregon still limited what was supposed to be a potent LSU offense and got to LSU's pitchers enough to win
Also, Oregon's game against James Madison is going to start at around 3:25 PM PST.

It's not the smile you have to worry about.... it's the evil grin when they Texas get torched that you need to watch.

I am INCREDIBLY impressed! Never imagined. I have little doubt the Ducks will experience a decent number of losses this year, but coming out like this . . . Call me "in Lombardi's corner."
Awesome.

I watched a bit of Texas’s home opener and they had 30 or 40 people in the stands. Bet that’s hard to swallow for the players that transferred, used to 2400 crazy fans at their games.

That has to be weird for them, no cheers, nothing but faint clapping instead of crazy loud cheering.

Good job by Maddie to get out of that inning with a K. Now lets see those bats come alive.

They aren't smiling and are thinking " Maybe we weren't so smart to transfer..." Sorry if it wasn't clear.

I'll bet you are both correct. I hope they are glad for the Ducks, but regardless I can only shout Go Ducks!
