One of the worst refereeing jobs I have ever seen.

Watching Mario yelling at refs right now is very comical. Hey dumbass, refs/replay officials are the reason you don’t have 2 losses right now.

Regardless of the outcome of this game, this game shows why refs and replay officials need to have post game press conferences with the media. They need to justify calls like this.

Cal did everything they could do to lose that game
I only watched the 4th quarter and I have no idea how Cal has 38 points. It's a stark difference between Vanderbilt and Cal. 1 team played to win and the other team played not to lose. Clock management for Cal was terrible too.

Back in the day when people wanted to hire Wilcox here.....

First, I never wanted Wilcox here. But Peter Sirmon’s defensive playcalling has been atrocious.

Cal absolutely choked but if that hit wasn’t targeting then no hit has ever been targeting. ACC officials are clearly protecting Miami.

Twitter blowing up with how Miami also got away with a blatant ineligible man downfield on multiple lineman on the game winning TD.

Two of their linemen were 3 yards in the end zone. Way downfield.

Seeing Mario and Feld is like seeing an episode of Beavis and Butthead

OregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Oct 05, 2024 1:53 pm Kirk Ferentz is so overly conservative it just keeps Iowa from winning by sort of game. That timeout right before they converted a 4th and 1 on a fake punt was painful.

Ohio State is far from unbeatable. Howard is Ok but nothing amazing and same with their OLine. They do have a fantastic DLine that can wreak havoc in the pass and running game so ducks need to be ready for that. But I’m not seeing any reason the ducks won’t beat tOSU if they simply don’t beat themselves.
I think Ohio State and Oregon are very similar teams. Both have offenses that are probably capable of more than they've put together in 4 quarters this year. Both very strong defenses. Neither super consistent but can compete with anyone.

If Alabama loses, I'm gonna go shotgun a beer with my neighbor who went to Vanderbilt. The hilarious part is she will have absolutely no idea what I'm celebrating because even Vanderbilt alumni don't pay attention to their football team.
At least you got to re-live college. Enjoy your beer. Going to be a battle next week. I’ll probably shotgun 3 or 4 pregame next weekend just for the pent up stress.

I had a similar thought when they popped up on screen. Cringed a little.

I was always amazed that people thought Feld was so cool. He ran around on the sidelines like an idiot and had one job, that being to keep Mario’s horrible temper in check.

Do you ever see Wilson Love preening for the camera the way Feld does????

StevensTechU wrote: Sat Oct 05, 2024 9:38 pm Let's put it to bed that Oregon should have gone after Cam Ward instead of Dillon Gabriel. Ward will lose you some games singlehandedly.

Cal 28-10 Miami

What?

Ward is the better and more entertaining QB by a long way. I don't come here looking to dump on the coaches or on Gabriel, but this is a ridiculous take, especially after watching Gabriel kill three long drives with red zone picks in the last two games. You could put an eye patch over Ward's dominant eye and he would still have more downfield vision than Gabriel. One thing I am confident about is that if we had Ward, college football fans all over the country would not be wondering why the heck Oregon can't get the ball to Evan Stewart.

On a very random note, when I hear "ACC after dark" or any other non-Pac-after-dark reference, it makes me throw up in my mouth. It's like committing manslaughter and then peeing on the corpse.

Gotta give the Networks credit for taking down the PAC, how many games kicked off after 430 PST for the old PAC members this weekend, like 85%?

Watching the Arizona's, SC, OSU, the poodles, Cal all kickoff late including our Friday night game it really hit home how the conference changed that aspect for every west coast school now.
