^^ Answer depends on how unique your system is. Does it matter more than playing time and real game reps? For a QB, I don't think so, but that's all opinion.

I don't expect the O-Line to be as porous in real games and the touch sack rule really limited the offense. This is particularly true with Moga and Smith Jr who would have not gone down with 80 percent of the touch sacks they were called for. If by some chance the O-line does stay that porous though Moga and/or Smith with their strength and mobility may end up seeing playing time just because the first two QBs would likely get injured.

I think its reasonable to attribute the OL play to them splitting up squads. Getting 5 guys to work together on double teams and blocking schemes is much harder to do than cutting 4 guys lose to go chase the qb. Once they get a consensus unit together which I am sure they probably have already, they will start to gel with time and reps... part of the reason why we see always see slow starts to OL's at the beginning of the season.

Small sample size to use a intrasquad, but most of the pressure came from offensive linemen getting beat 1 on 1, not stunts and exotic blitzes. I'm actually struggling to remember if a single sack of the 11 came from a corner or safety. So I think attributing it to needing to gel is a little bit just taking a positive talking point and not questioning it.
