I hear that, but it’s these ghost injuries in practice and on bye weeks that are just devastating. Especially if it’s true this just happened. No time to game-plan around it.buckmarkduck wrote: Sat Nov 08, 2025 6:10 amI remember Ohio state beating UO with a 3rd string qb in the natty. Michigan lost two starters in the secondary in 24, and had muktiple starting OL kiss games. Ohio st lost their best OT for the year last year. But yes, Oregon is the only team to get injuries, everyone else stays healthy.
And in the lead ups to enormous games…. Unbelievable.

Supposedly the post on scoop duck has been deleted. Like somebody else said we will know in 2.5 hours if any of this is true.
The fact the betting line hasn't budged at all is interesting.

Funny... I appreciate the enthusiasm and the prediction, but not how I would paint the picture...

If a few injuries means we’re going to lose then you’re simultaneously indicting this coaching staff. This is still an extremely talented, especially compared to Iowa, and if a few starters going down means you suddenly aren’t good then we have a coaching problem.
I don’t think we do but pointing out that if you’re going to go down the injury excuse route then you also have to hold the coaching staff accountable. If Oregon loses this game it’ll be because they were out-coached.

Thamel has reported on it so there's definitely some fire to it.

Losing someone that big a part of your offense on Friday is really tough, you’ve game planned around them for 2 weeks, all that is just out the window, or their replacement fills that spot in the script, Lowe probably?dthomas=ddixon wrote: Sat Nov 08, 2025 9:56 am If a few injuries means we’re going to lose then you’re simultaneously indicting this coaching staff. I know it happened at the beginning of the game not before but this feels sort of like the Michigan game last year, except this Iowa team is better.

I would imagine the concern stems around the WR room already not being super deep, and now down the top 2 WRs, along with Moore’s other top receiving threat at TE. Also, with Moore looking shaky in a few prior games with pressure, losing the RT with Wilson not looking especially great in his snap sample is a bit concerning. Mostly, I’m just concerned how it all impacts Moore in a road game against a very solid defense. Being down that many weapons is never good. We’ll see what happens and who actually ends up being out. Good news is they should only need 21 points to win if the defense plays at their usual level.dthomas=ddixon wrote: Sat Nov 08, 2025 9:56 am If a few injuries means we’re going to lose then you’re simultaneously indicting this coaching staff. Are they really better than Michigan, who had multiple 1st rounders on the D? Neither have good QBs.OregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Nov 08, 2025 10:57 am I know it happened at the beginning of the game not before but this feels sort of like the Michigan game last year, except this Iowa team is better.

Moore is out. Oregon just has so little depth at WR now.

Iowa only has 3 guys on their injury report. Would be nice to have so few players injured.
