It'd be really nice if we maintained the option to run 12 personnel with 2 mega talented TEs. Doesn't look like Olesh recorded any stats this year--but if our coaches are sniffing around, they have a really good track record at judging talent. I am definitely open to grabbing another TE.squintsdd wrote: Sat Jan 03, 2026 3:26 pmThis would be a good grab, but TE isn't necessarily an area of needStevensTechU wrote: Sat Jan 03, 2026 2:37 pm Penn State tight end Andrew Olesh, who the ducks were heavily involved with late in the 2025 cycle, is in the portal.

Cade Uluave, linebacker out of Cal, is in the portal. Would be a half step up from Boettcher (no disrespect intended) and give the room another year to grow.

I believe I saw Oregon was currently at around 80 scholarship guys but they'll likely lose a few more to the NFL or transfer so will be taking 10-15 players.pdxduck2013 wrote: Sat Jan 03, 2026 4:58 pm Counting the 21 incoming freshman + Bair coming back from his mission, how many scholarships do we have available for transfers? 10-12?
