Oregon has contacted Providence F Jamier Jones. Shot over 38% from three as a FR but that was on a pretty low volume.

Oregon has contacted Northwestern G Jayden Reid and Georgetown G KJ Lewis. Reid is an undersized PG who didn't shoot well from three while Lewis is a former Arizona player who Oregon tried getting out of HS and the portal last season.

Re: 2026-27 MBB Additions/Subtractions
Jayden Reid had a bad shooting year. But during his 3 year career, he's shooting 37% from 3PT and almost 80% from the line. So not a bad shooter typically.

No real surprise as it seems Altman told just about the entire team to leave. Almost a shocker that Phillips hasn't left yet given how last season went but he'll probably be there in the next day given the rumors around him.

Oregon will be getting a visit from Boise State G Andrew Meadow, a three-year starter for the Broncos who averaged 12 points and shot 38.6% from three this past season.

Re: 2026-27 MBB Additions/Subtractions
Again Oregon should set its sights on the top 51-100 type transfer range to be their main starters. Oregon likely can't afford any of the top 25 guys.

So Sean Stewart will be the lone remaining player as Efe Vatan and Jamari Phillips will be entering the portal.

I just assumed everyone is leaving because we lost our big guys, but I think most these guys are leaving for financial decisions. These fringe guys like Phillips and Vatan would likely see no NIL money at Oregon this upcoming year.

Sounds like every returning player would have needed to take a pay cut due to them rightsizing NIL payments based on performance last season, not that the program's total NIL budget was being cut to the bone.UOducksTK1 wrote: Thu Apr 09, 2026 12:25 pm I just assumed everyone is leaving because we lost our big guys, but I think most these guys are leaving for financial decisions. Yup makes sense^
Out of all the guys we are pursuing, I feel like Meadow right now is the likeliest to be a duck. He's got some game:

Petty is a great young player from the NW. Would be amazing if they could get him, but thinking it will be very difficult.

Would be a good add. Get those FT shooting numbers up a bit and I like what I see. I remember him a bit at USC.

Yeah, hmmm. With a surname like that, he ought to be a really good player.
