I believe we will never see TB do that at Clemson, and probably will not see that out of Bryce Brown at Miami, should he ultimately land there.

Not sour grapes, just an observation on the recent history of the coaches and programs.

Not sure Boyd would have ever won the starting position, until after DT leaves. I believe Thomas is a special player, who will give Duck fans some truly excellent memories before he leaves.

IMO, Oregon is currently one of the best destinations in the nation for a running back who really wants to showcase his skills, and develope his game.

Take note... If BB doesn't do it here, somebody else will get the opportunity of a lifetime!
Very true Wounded. There's probably an RB just waiting in the wings praying & hoping BB doesn't choose Oregon.

Wounded, this is what I have been thinking. It would be crazy for him not to come to Oregon. He could rush for 1500 yds and 15 TDs a year. There is definitely going to be someone in the future that is going to see how Oregon showcases it talent at RB and jump at the opportunity.

I find it odd that Mops and AJ on rivals both posted the same thing on the same day. RE: don't meltdown if no brown.
Guess that is our head's up on this.

I will make this thread positive. Think of all the "good news" threads we have seen on this board, and what did we end up with the majority of the time...... nothing. Now that there is a "bad news" thread, maybe our luck will turn and we end up with the player. I can dream!!!!!

It would be great to get Brown but I am looking at the positive if he doesn't come. We either get him this year or we can get 2-3 great RB's next year. Not that I don't want Brown but I think I would prefer to have 2-3 top backs next year.

I don't think that Brown sticking with his commitment is really "bad news". Like everyone else, I think we expected it. He did say we were in the lead, but at the same time he always said that he was still committed to Miami.

I think the bad news we need to prepare for is if we come up empty at WR.
