We were obviously overrated to start the season. At this point, I would say that last years team was better.

Oddly, through the first three weeks of this season, it appears we got Years 2 & 3 of our baseball rebirth backwards. This is how I (and most) expected last year to be; you can see the talent, but inconsistencies keep us from winning. Last year was how this season probably should be going, ie, must smoother.

I will say this, though I obviously can't disagree we appear overrated at this moment in time, college baseball's season is crazy long and we still have the most important pieces of the puzzle (starting pitching) figured out. At one point last year, Oregon State lost 11 of 12 games, and they didn't look good doing it. Then we rode into town, OSU 'figured it all out', and they finished strong and got into the Tournament. At some point this year, I DO think things will start to click. Hopefully we're not several games under .500 before we get it right.

Yeah no kidding. I think eventually we will start finding our groove. Remember there's still quite a number of new faces playing key roles for our team. We also loss some strong starters. Once we start finding our chemistry, I think the wins will start rolling.

Yeah I would hold off till we start calling the team overrated or proclaiming this a lost season. The season is so long & there's a moster playoff so, unlike football, a bad start to the season can almost be completely erased if you are playing great by conference play.
