Garlick continues his standout weekend, getting an infield single and scoring Serna from third. Bases still juiced, one out.

5-4 Ducks

Healy with a big sac fly; Pulfer scores from third.

6-4 Ducks. Good work, freshmen. Good work.

Thank God for some clutch hitters. Wish there was a way we could just skip the bullpen. Guys need to start throwing complete games or something.

We win.

Well, I wanted three wins going into this series, now its time to get greedy and go for four.

Major rain coming tonight and tomorrow. San Diego ran in only come in two type, a light drizzle or head for the Ark. Currently high winds and rain.

I understood from comments Saturday that the Monday game is cancelled or postponed because of the expected rain. Anybody know anything about this?

I have not seen anyone say that. Saturday morning it was announced that the double header originally planned for Sunday was being moved to Saturday, because they feared rain on Sunday. GoDucks.com post-game write up of today's game says first pitch is still scheduled for 1 pm Monday.

They did indeed cancel the game today. Kuedell will almost certainly start Wednesday at San Fran.

I wouldn't say keudell is a lock to pitch wed because we play 4 at home against wichita state and with a dh saturday you still need someone to pitch sunday I could see go by committee on wed and have keudell ready on sunday
