I don't think this has been mentioned but this kid is the son of Carl Lane, former beevur RB.

I guess that's where the interest in the NW comes into play.

Sounds like we don't get this kid if baseball isn't added this year, hopefully this is the first of many kids like this!

Lane reminds me of S. Parker. Kind of a Terrance Scott mold to. Not sure if Terrance was that fast, but he was fast.

There still seem to be times when a pure possession type receiver is desireable... especially in light of the sheer numbers of dropped passes on critical 3rd and 4th down situations the last 2 seasons.

Pflugrad and Cantu are both good for that.

That's funny. The Samie Parker comparison jumped out at me too. I'm excited about this get for the time being. Hope he decides to play football for Oregon, but if not, best of luck to him and thanks for choosing Oregon anyway.
