Another SEC victim! A&M goes down to Auburn after 4 OT!

There was a similar made-up call that actually took a great TD catch away from Alabama. I couldn't believe there weren't SEC guys in suits coming down to assassinate that ref or something; I didn't think they allowed bad calls vs Alabama.OregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2024 9:34 pm SEC refs are just as awful as B1G refs. Auburn should’ve had a a 1st and goal at the 2 in double OT but a made up offensive PI made it 2nd and 25. Why are refs so awful this year and constantly affecting the outcome of a game? It’s happening at all levels so we may actually see change now.
Well that went well!UOducksTK1 wrote: Wed Nov 20, 2024 12:41 pm At this point I'm just rooting for all the 2 loss SEC teams to lose. Lol
I think the CFB world would see this overrated Texas A&M team get drubbed in back to back weeks by Texas if they won. +1 point for the refs for letting us avoid that oneOregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2024 9:34 pm SEC refs are just as awful as B1G refs. You mean like the 3 or 4 cupcakes on all the SEC's teams schedules? I hope Georgia Tech beats Georgia and Texas A&M beats Texas.Phalanx wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2024 11:02 pmThere was a similar made-up call that actually took a great TD catch away from Alabama. Somebody better get the ESPN spin doctors to work. There are a lot of 'strength of schedule' arguments to proliferate this week to still get those five teams into the playoffs!
I've said it before and I'll continue to say it. With all the money college football is bringing in, it's waaaaaaaaaay passed time to have professional referees who are age 30-50 in good physical shape and pay them well and train them and grade them after every game. Screw ups means you're working the Mercer or Stoney Brook games the next week! Make it all public. It's not brain surgery.ducks5ever wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2024 9:20 amI think the CFB world would see this overrated Texas A&M team get drubbed in back to back weeks by Texas if they won. +1 point for the refs for letting us avoid that oneOregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2024 9:34 pm SEC refs are just as awful as B1G refs. They put up 25 points in their first week with a new OC. I don't honestly know if that's good or bad, I'm just sayin'.Phalanx wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2024 7:26 pm Wisconsin goes from playing Oregon tough to losing to Nebraska. Not appreciated.
Alabama and Texas A&M both losing at the half. Wish those scores would hold up, but they won't. Imagine the whining coming from the southeast if everyone starts having three losses.
