There was a similar made-up call that actually took a great TD catch away from Alabama. Bring back the BCS, lol.
A really good reminder that some of these grandiose statements about teams/conferences in the beginning and middle of the season is just lame and that the Playoff has never been about making sure the most deserving teams play for a Championship.

I've said it before and I'll continue to say it. With all the money college football is bringing in, it's waaaaaaaaaay passed time to have professional referees who are age 30-50 in good physical shape and pay them well and train them and grade them after every game. Screw ups means you're working the Mercer or Stoney Brook games the next week! Make it all public. With Alabama losing a third game to a crap team, I can't help but think about the young Wisconsin fan who yelled at a group of Oregon fans after the game "Have fun getting f***** by Alabama!" Sorry your hopes are dashed, kid.
