Feels like a lot of people aren't willing to spend $200+ to watch a blowout and/or they're saving their money for the Orange Bowl and future CFP games. They need to price tickets a little more in line with what is normally paid for regular season games.

I only just found out today that the home team doesn't receive any direct portion of the ticket sales, only the $3M stipend that they'd get regardless of being home or away. Since that's the case, I'm guessing the school had limited say in setting the price for tickets.

A little sparse at the top of the usual student section but it sounds like people are still trickling in with 10 minutes to kickoff.

Tickets are really cheap, I had a friend who was on his way to my house to watch the game when he heard tickets were on sale for below $40, then he decided to go to the game instead. I was hospitalized Wednesday and just got out last night and I won’t fully recover for a while or else I’d be going.
