So true. Reminded me a little of that 3-run 9th vs. UConn on Friday. Not how anyone would imagine us scoring 3 runs, but it's all good.greenyellow wrote:Those weren't a pretty 3 runs but I'll take them any way we can.
Good thing there are no style points in baseball; Oregon would score hardly any.oregontrack wrote:So true. Reminded me a little of that 3-run 9th vs. UConn on Friday. Some wacky things happen and Oregon is getting some breaks finally.Biggus Duckus wrote:Ducks get on because of an uncaught third strike.
But it's better than nothing at all. Wish there was a video feed but I'll put up with just radio.Biggus Duckus wrote:These Duck announcer suck, the UConn announcers were better radio announcers and they had a video feed to go along with it.
He's a true frosh too, definitely showing promise. He'll be nice in the future.greenyellow wrote:Christian Jones seems to have settled down a bit and got out of the that inning with no damage done. He'll be a good one by the time he's done at Oregon.
He will probably be the frontrunner to replace LaTempa in the rotation next year.UOducksTK1 wrote:He's a true frosh too, definitely showing promise. Yep. Crazy that we lose 2/3 of our weekend starters but can replace them so easily from within. Who knows what Horton will recruit and be able to get to Eugene, too. I know that kid from Kansas is supposed to be a phenom, but I don't know if he'll be drafted high enough to warrant taking the money.greenyellow wrote:He will probably be the frontrunner to replace LaTempa in the rotation next year.UOducksTK1 wrote:He's a true frosh too, definitely showing promise. Horton got a kid from Philly and he's supposed to be really good, too. Sounds like he may be drafted and not come to Oregon, but he would be awesome to have.oregontrack wrote:Yep.
