Oh, and apparently former ASU QB Sam Keller filed a class action law suit against EA Sports for using his "likeness" in the NCAA Football series. Loser.

What a piece of work....

RE: Duck uniforms

I will bet that they don't come free. There may be that many options, but they most likely will be DLC.

They'll are be included in the game for free. One of the EA Sports developers said that they've spent a lot of time on alternates this year and will be in the game for free. He said that they have no intentions on making people pay for simple things such as uniforms. He said there wasn't as many in last year's game because they had to redo the player models from NCAA 2008 to make them more realistic. They stuck to last year's models and were able to create plenty of alternates that would make people happy.

Rumors on several boards and from some reliable posters have said that Oregon will have combos in the double digits.

By the way, Backbreaker (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwoVwZIv ... re=related) had some news come out of the blue last week that a huge announcement is coming out during E3 in two weeks. Also it's rumored that the game is going to be released in July, after many thought the game has been dead for over a year. This game looks AWESOME and I can't wait for it.

That looks so sick. It's about time somebody tried something new.

Definitely. The only problem with going to that view is that it basically eliminates the game for whoever is playing defense unless you have a split-screen mode or they are playing from on-line.

I loved the first person view on 2k years ago. It made kick returns a lot of fun and more "real" feeling.

Here is a new video showing Season Showdown. It part of one play of a Civil War game at Autzen. In it you can see Masoli (#2 :? ) dropping back. The pass blocking is better as somewhat of a pocket forms. You can also see the visual depth system which is cool. Later in the video it shows Ed Dickson celebrating after a touchdown. You can also see some new animations throughout the video. I really hope the people who have played the game are right, because they keep saying there are way more to the game than what has been shown.

In somewhat related news, rumor has it that Playstation will be dropping its price by about $100 sometime in the next month or so.

This was posted on ESPN
http://sports.espn.go.com/videogames/ne ... id=4215220

"ESPN: I saw the ability to mix and match uniforms in the game for each team. How will that work?

Ben Haumiller: In years past, you had your home uniform, your away uniform, and you might have a couple of alternates. But this year, we wanted to break these up into individual pieces because there are so many uniforms that are just the change of a pant color or something like that. So we broke all of these up so you can set your helmet, your jersey, your pants and your shoe color independent from each other. Just doing that right there, the number for the potential of alternate jerseys grew exponentially, especially for a team like Oregon who has different helmets and like eight different jersey tops and three or four different pants. If you're playing as Oregon, you can have a completely different uniform every game of the season."

So apparently ALL of Oregon's uni combo's are in the game! That is if they put in each color of helmet, jersey, and pants.

On another website, one of the developers of NCAA 10 who works on the unis posted the codes they used for Oregon unis. They had 3 helmets (no black), all 4 uniforms, and at least 16 preset combos. If you don't like the preset combos, you can just mix and match any helmet, jersey, pants, and socks/shoes. This is one of the sweetest additions to this year's game. There are also some photos floating around that they may have also gotten some new or redone helmets into the game.
