Jay Johnson is already an upgrade over Drew, which says a lot about Drew, he is the worst playcaller I’ve ever seen at Oregon.

Yeah Drew was a detriment to this offense. We have real issues still but just running a base offense that gets the ball to our skill players makes us competitive.

wait, you mean throwing the ball down the field can produce positive yards? What? When was this a thing?

Where was that efficiency onOwhen Oregon was playing Illinois?
Not that this is a thing of beauty, but at least Raiola got the ball where someone could catch it on the TD series...

Makes me sad. Even with this level of competence on offense, they’d be 7-0 on the year.OfaFeather wrote:Even as bad as this game looks, at least is there is offensive production. Better that the Meh-ss we had before.

It’s not just about throwing down the field, it’s about route concepts. We ran all verts so much and deep sideline routes which first isn’t the strength for guys like Dak and Stewart and clearly Raiola can’t throw that. There was very little over the middle where our receivers thrive and Raiola can throw. It was as if Drew ran everything that went against the skillset of our players and refused to run what they can run. Only reason I can think for that is pure incompetence.QuackininBama wrote:wait, you mean throwing the ball down the field can produce positive yards? What? When was this a thing?

lol…. This team. Opening the offense was working, so let’s pack it back in and pretend we can bully them. Definition of insanity.

I’m getting tired of people letting poor defense off the hook, blaming the offense. They’ve been bad since before we even got the ball on offense. They’ve bad argument can be used late in the game, but not from the get-go.whosyourwally wrote:If you can’t stop the rush on offense and you can’t generate the rush on defense, everyone looks bad.QuackininBama wrote:WTF is this defense called? Leave EVERY offense player wide open and tackle them after they catch the ball?
