Ducks win 7-5 over Texas A&M. Oregon will get at least a split of their 6 scheduled games this weekend.

Big time come from behind win for the Ducks, Dail with another great performance. She still throws too many pitches, 3 consecutive 3-2 counts in the final inning, but only 3 walks in the game. Gave up 6 hits and a season high 5 run, 5 K's. On the offensive side, Bowden 2-4 3 RBI, Wagner, 2-2, 2 RBI.

MacGrandle has to step up. Dail threw 141 pitches. Can't pitch most of another game today and then tomorrow.

A single for Cid, 3rd in the lineup for this game, is the first hit for the Ducks. Bowden pops up for the 3rd out.

Texas Tech gets a run on a one-out triple and wild pitch but a Bowden throwout and a flyout ends the inning. 1-0 TTU.

McGrandle gets a K then gives up a triple. A wild pitch to the next batter brings in the first run.

Anyone else think this coach brings something more to the table than we were led to believe?
This team literally seems to be one decent rotational pitcher from pretty damn good.
Boy, did that off season turnover screw things up!

Galey gets on via HBP but is stranded after the Ducks have three consecutive strikeouts. 1-0 TTU heading to the B3.

Sure seems like it, the off season drama probably clouded over the credentials Lombardi had coming in. Now that tings have settled down, definitely a great start.

MacGrandle allows a one-out infield single but nothing else doing after a diving catch by Cruse leads to throwout at 1B to complete a DP. 1-0 TTU heading to T4.
