I feel a little better now. That drive settled me down. That TD call from Stein is what the Stein offense is all about. As Danielson said, that SC ‘backer had no clue what was happening.

PS - I’m watching from home and the behind the QB cable cam showed just how ballsy and confident that first throw to Benson was by Dante.

I’m guessing we’ll see a lot of 13 personnel….

This game is all about pressure on USC’s QB. So far it’s not happening.

7.5, you say? Tosh might have some PT for you in the second half.
He might have him Spy the QB on 3rd down while only rushing 3...

And that’s why Oregon shouldn’t abandon the pass. Balanced offense is always the best plan. It’ll benefit our rush game later in the game and we’ll lean into that.

Sounds like a no-nonsense, fully guaranteed way not to get a lick of pressure on Maiava. :D

Bet ya Dickey is kicking himself now. He would be a starter at this point.

Let's go, turn Teitum and Matayo loose on 3rd down with maybe someone like Mixon on a blitz. Or put Wyatt in for Mixon on 3rd and send him with all 4 d-linemen.

Got to attack their OL. Would like to see Wyatt and Purchase out there attacking some more.

Thank goodness for that drop! Not sure why the receiver went for a 1 handed catch. Riley found something about this Oregon defense to get guys open.

Edit: NVM Poncho injured courtesy of a USC cheap shot, such a dirty play.
