Tao Johnson committed to UCLA.
Expect another wave of outbound transfers now that the season is over.

Which is going to hurt. Oregon is already losing some rotation players in all this. It would be nice to see some inbound playersStevensTechU wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 8:02 am Tao Johnson committed to UCLA.

Ohio State S Faheem Delane is in the portal. Oregon was in his final 3 last recruiting cycle.

I wonder what Lanning sees in Raiola, I’m guessing this means Dante is gone whether he’s going pro (which would be a mistake) or he’s transferring.greenyellow wrote:Dylan Raiola will be visiting soon.

Why would you think Moore might be transferring? That's a wild conclusion to jump to after what happened last night and who Oregon is targeting in the portal.OregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 5:15 pm I wonder what Lanning sees in Raiola, I’m guessing this means Dante is gone whether he’s going pro (which would be a mistake) or he’s transferring.

What don’t you like about him? He tries to be Mahomes? He was a 5 star recruit and seems like a fighter and competitive guy.OregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 5:15 pmI wonder what Lanning sees in Raiola, I’m guessing this means Dante is gone whether he’s going pro (which would be a mistake) or he’s transferring.greenyellow wrote:Dylan Raiola will be visiting soon.

He’s definitely not the worst choice out there and there’s talent, but he seemed to have quite a bit of accuracy issues at Nebraska and doesn’t seen to be any better than Dante at progressing and reading a defense.GDuck wrote:What don’t you like about him? I don’t think that’s happening, it’s more likely he’d go pro, but just listed it as a possibility if Raiola is a replacement for Dante. Only reason I could imagine he’d transfer is to follow Stein.greenyellow wrote:Why would you think Moore might be transferring? Again, you’re judging a guy based on his play as a true freshman and sophomore. The things you continue to point out are things that only get better through experience and playing against those different coverages and schemes. I’m conflicting on this because I’ve been mocking how big of a cornball he is for his Mahomes schtick the past few years, but seems like a good kid and he certainly has talent. If he stops the Mahomes antics, I’m good with it, especially if he’s willing to sit a year behind Moore, which I’ve read is a possibility. Would be nice to have an experienced backup. That’s a rare option in college football these days. As a show of good faith, if he signs, I hope he shaves off his Mahomes haircut first thing. Then I will be fully on board.OregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 5:46 pmHe’s definitely not the worst choice out there and there’s talent, but he seemed to have quite a bit of accuracy issues at Nebraska and doesn’t seen to be any better than Dante at progressing and reading a defense.GDuck wrote:What don’t you like about him? Fair enough, and if Moore stays having Raiola as a backup is going to push him a lot more than having Brock Thomas as a backup.
I wasn’t trying to say he isn’t a good decision, I’ve learned by now to trust Dan when it comes to portal decision. I thought Malik Benson was a terrible choice only for him to single handedly save our playoff hopes. Now I sit here thinking he was under utilized especially in the second half of the playoffs. I was just confused to see he’s visiting is all and legit wondering what Dan sees in him but I’m sure he sees it.

Saw an interview a couple day ago, saying his family wants him at UO. Rumor is he would even be willing to backup Moore for a year, but don’t know how true that is or not n

I read that, too. That would be awesome! I also read that the kid from USC would be willing to sit behind Dante for a year, but it seems like there are conflicting stories.buckmarkduck wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 6:33 pmSaw an interview a couple day ago, saying his family wants him at UO.
