I would rather see Horton use McGough as a setup man for Moen.

I'd like to not get swept. If we can win one, I think it'll be a successful weekend. We've got Washington and USC coming up, who both suck. A 1-2 start with 6 legitimately winnable games coming up would put us in a pretty good spot.
Hopefully Boer finds his groove again.

Any better than 1 out of 3 would be fantastic.

Much better. Last Saturday's assbackwards fiasco was an aberration, they're usually better than that.

I like Keudell coming out of the bullpen as opposed to starting. Still need that 3 and 4 strong starter, hopefully Jones becomes more consistent.

Hell, if Healy wants to keep pitching like that, I say let he and Housey take the midweek games and make Kuedell our closer.

Sounds as if Stefan Sabol may be able to play this weekend, but Piazzisi is still several weeks out.

Re: Oregon @ Arizona State (3 game series)
Tyler Anderson (4-0, 1.02) vs. Brady Rodgers (3-1, 2.33)
Madison Boer (2-0, 1.91) vs. Kramer Champlin (3-1, 3.03)
Alex Kuedell (3-2, 2.54) vs. Jake Barrett (2-2, 5.35)
I imagine we'll see plenty of Christian Jones in long relief either Saturday or Sunday, as Boer seems to be in a bit of a funk and Kuedell is highly unpredictable.
We lost a 1-0 pitcher's duel in last year's series opener, Anderson was incredible but ASU's guy was just a little better. We had the lead going into the 9th in game two, lost it, tied it in the bottom of the inning, and then won in 12. Lost game three by 4 or 5 runs.

Kuedell gets the nod over Jones? I wish it was the other way around. Kuedell does well coming out of the bullpen as opposed to starting. Got to love that 1-2 punch we have rolling though right now.oregontrack wrote:Tyler Anderson (4-0, 1.02) vs. Brady Rodgers (3-1, 2.33)
