Today's an example of how when it rains in baseball, it pours. Luck is very much part of the game; an inch or a single MPH difference on a fastball are often the differences in games. Sometimes, poor teams can have good seasons simply based on luck. Sometimes, a good team can have a poor season for the same reason. This isn't meant to excuse our season away, but we've had so much go against us this year it's almost comical. Today's example: Runner on first, no outs. Horton sends him; he's thrown out at second. The batter walks. The next batter is hit by a pitch. The next batter walks. Bases loaded. Would have scored a run, but we sent the lead runner and got him caught stealing three batters ago. No run. Now, we'll lose this game by 1. Anything than can go against us this year has.

It's always nice to beat the Beavs!

Need more people saying we have no chance every game. Haha Great win tonight and to see the bats come out, espically like a team like the beavers.

I went to the game last night in Corvallis and it was great to see the bats wake up a bit. Jones pitched a great game.

I was there with some Beaver friends and was laughing about all of the Beav fans around me talking how they were playing down to the Ducks level.
