A polished southpaw? Should rise through the minors quickly next year.

SS Mitchel Walding, one of our recruits (and a 5th round pick), signed with Philly for $800k.

Haven't seen anything on Kuedell signing... but, 38th round picks coming to terms with their big league clubs don't often hit the news quickly.

Doesn't sound like they did since this article mentions the ones they signed on the final day and Keudell isn't listed. It could be that they forgot to add him or he was too late of an addition for the list, but I think he'll probably be back next year.

It does sound like Oregon did fairly well in not having too many of the incoming recruiting class sign pro contracts so the team seems stocked for the next couple of seasons.

Agreed. A Kuedell/Jones 1-2 should be pretty darn good next season. If Porter Clayton snags the Sunday spot we'll lose all three starters after the 2012 season (Jones will leave as a junior, Clayton is a highly-touted draft-eligible sophomore), but we should be pretty good next year so enjoy the ride while it lasts.

According to the RG, Kuedell did indeed fail to sign to the best of their knowledge.

And Walding was the only recruit we lost, and Philly gave him $800k; more than any other selection in the 5th round.
