Masoli squatted 475 today, DJ Davis benched 335. Those are pretty impressive numbers by those two!

Impressive, but I'm not overly surprised. Masoli's legs are like 10 times the size of Dixon's.

His shortness also makes it a lot easier for him. Very impressive though. And I'm really glad to hear Davis is that strong

Kind of an amazing transition when you think we went from a 6'4, skinny as a rail QB in Dixon to mini Haloti in Masoli - all in just 1 year.
Great coaching to get we got from DD after he struggled under Crowton. JM is only here a few months and look what he accomplishes by the end of the season. Any decent dual threat QB should be looking long & hard and what's happening in Eugene.

Masoli is strong...as we saw last season. I'm more surprised that DJ can bench that much.

I went and saw the Watchmen last Friday, and as I was walking out I saw LeGarrette Blount standing in front of another theater. I didn't notice it was him at first, I just noticed a huge guy standing there texting. Just like you never really notice how tall basketball players are until they aren't around other basketball players, you never really notice how huge these guys are until they're around us "normal" people.
By the way, I mentioned the Watchmen because it's a fantastic movie.

Tell me you didn't have to suffer through that Soc-330 class! For your sake I hope it was a different one! But your right he is built like a tank, I was just on the phone with a buddy the other day and I had just left class and I was like "damn, you know Masoli is a frickin big QB! I mean he isn't really tall but he's built like a decent sized running back." Now that i'm reading those numbers I probably should have used a different word than "decent."

Masoli is a beast! I love the guy. If he keep improving his passing, Oregon is going to be deadly in 2009. That strength and endurance is going to help his durability to stay healthy all season.
