Solid recruiting and good coaching, combined with a little good fortune when it comes to winning so many close games.

easy Horton!!! A name kids who play the game know. He won a national championship. He gets the
most out of his players. He puts the best coaches together and he recruits great kids. He installs a winning
attitude right away.

Horton had one crap season at CS Fullerton then did work every year until he came to Oregon. He is the freaking man.

Horton demands that his players don't settle for what they are supposed to be, and he has not set ceilings for the program. Pat Kilkenny hit a home run with that hire...

IMO, Oregon has the best coach in the nation in both football and baseball. I love Oregon coaches! I was skeptical of Altman, but I'm slowly liking him more and more. Oregon has been getting great hires lately! I just love how Oregon is becoming a national program in so many sports!

It's been a terrific year for Oregon sports. Let's not forget women's softball, lacrosse, track and field, etc.
