the senior-to-be was the #8 overall pick in the draft, and pittsburgh was offering nearly a million over the slotted amount. huge boost to stanford.

Not too often that you see a first-rounder like him turn down that type of money.

That's what happens when Boras is you're agent. Better hope he stays healthy next season. Pitchers only have so many pitches in their arms. Don't know how you turn down $3.8 guaranteed.

Stanford has players turning down $3.8 million to return.
We have players leaving school early to become firefighters.

i'm pretty sure we're 3-0 against appell. let's make it 4-0 next year.
