ESPN IN EUGENE
The ESPN show Jim Rome is Burning will be in town on Monday to do a piece on the Ducks and will feature head coach Chip Kelly in a correspondent role. On Thursday, Kelly will grace the sports network's airwaves on College Football Live. The weeklong theme on CFL is "newcomers," so Kelly will discuss players that are battling to fill the starting spots vacated by last year's seniors.

Appearances on Jim Rome and College Football Live should be nice national exposure for the Ducks!

good to know. I think this is type of stuff Kelly has to do to help with recrutiting down the road!

He might need to loosen up a little bit because he's actually very funny and motivating. I would love for that part of his personality to really come across. After a talk he gave in Medford, I wanted to go play football for him!!! I think much of the snippets of video we see of him doesn't really capture his full personality and it would be great to have him relax and chat it up more.

Anybody watch this? I set it to record on my DVR, and I'll admit I fast forwarded through most of it, but I didn't see CK at all?

I think it's for next week. It was mentioned in the Oregonian as next week anyway.

I watched the College Football Live interview and it was good they asked him 4-5 questions about having his boss as the interim QB coach, about offering Jon Gruden the OC Coordinator job, the PAC-10 being USC and then everybody else. It was probably a five minute segment, hopefully it provided some attention to a lot of recruits out there!
