Kelly Interview on Miami, Florida station WQAM....
http://miamiherald.typepad.com/hssports ... radio.html
One of the most popular and listened to radio shows in South Florida boasts another top-flight show this Thursday night (8-9) on WQAM (560 AM) (That's tonight, folks... 4/23/09. Should be 5 PM, our time?)
Kelly, who has changed the way Oregon recruit’s the nation, brings his east coast football skills out west as he takes over one of the best teams in the country.
The show can also be heard on http://www.wqam.com and archived on http://www.miamidolphins.com.

Thanks for the links!
I thought it was interesting that Chip said that the week after the spring game he'll be sending 5 or 6 coaches to south florida to recruit. That is a very large presence and investment in time. I wonder if we'll hear about some commits a week or two after that...

I'd imagine that Chip will be having coaches work on 2010 and 2011 kids. For a school like Oregon you need to make inroads since we have no tradition of recruiting florida at all. Last year Chip was in Florida a ton and many people were wondering why we were down there so often with almost no interest in 2009 kids. Well, turns out it was because he was speaking with 2010 kids and look how that paid off.
Now that he decides where to recruit we could be starting on the 2011 kids at even earlier time frame than we did with the current class of 2010 kids.
