That's great hopefully he can get some help with holding on to the ball because with his size he could do really well in the NFL

Honestly, my guess is that he will be released before the start of the season. I've never seen a player drop so many passes, many of them not very difficult.

He'll be good. I've always said that if I were an NFL scout and I saw how dangerous J-will is in the open field, I would give him a chance and only work on his hands. Because if he can start catching a few more balls, he'll be a valuable player.

I honestly would not be surprised to see him move to TE. He is really big and a good blocker.

Agreed. If you look at his frame, he's not even that filled out either. He could still add quite a bit of weight & be a beast of a TE.

I hope J-Will succeeds. He may have had his issues with drops but the guy blocked liked a beast and didnt pout. How many times did you see him chasing the play down and laying key blocks in the last couple of years? He has skills for a big man and just needs to be put in the right situation. If he can add the weight and still be as fast he could end up being a great TE. I will the best for J-Will and the rest of the Ducks drafted this weekend. Once a Duck always a Duck, no matter the ups or downs.

That was a good move by he Redskins. He is physically the ideal WR in the NFL. Someone has to spend the time with him on catching and he could be in the leauge for awhile. One thing that I was always surprised with is that the Oregon coaches said that his work ethic was incredible. Did he never work on catching the ball?

Maybe Zorn could bring in his buddy Steve Largent to work with JWill...that would be cool

I was optimistic Jwill's drops would be fixed his senior season. Early through the mid part of the season, Jwill was struggling to catch the ball. But in the civil war and the holiday bowl, Jwill not only did he avoid any costly drops, but he did a great job blocking and helping the team out.
Watching his NFL pre draft workout at the combine was brutal. It felt like all those good things he started doing near the end of the season were just a fluke. I hope he comes over the drops, but I don't know if he ever will..

Espn's analysis of him was just nasty. It even says "...needs to be more physical as a blocker." Where did they get that from? And they say his competitiveness and toughness is below average.
The guy was always open, was a tank to bring down with the ball, and was a hell of a blocker. Its amazing how his inability to catch the ball somehow makes scouts look down on the rest of his game.

well what ever happens with jwill...I'm pulling for the guy,he was always one of my favorites. He never lived up to what I predicted for him in college but he still has a chance in the big leagues..
good luck JWILL!!!
