Seems kind of random that they are traveling across this country at this point in the season.

there are only 11 teams in our conference so everyone has one non-league series. ohio state will come here next year.

I think this is a pretty fun, change of pace series. No midweek game, unlike the last 4 weeks. Gives us some time to take a deep breathe, then enjoy a random weekend in Ohio.

Then back home for 5 games next week.

Yes they are. 14-7 in conference, 32-14 overall. As far as how good their conference is, oregontrack would probably know that info.

the big 10 is pretty bad. really, there's the sec, acc, pac-12, and everybody else. big 10 only has one ranked team (indiana).

that's not to say ohio state can't beat us, it's baseball after all. we don't tend to dominate teams so much as we find new and different ways to squeak out wins each weekend. playing that many close games is bound to bite us at some point.

Oregon should win the series, but you can never be certain of that considering this is a series on the road.

Watched Ohio State play tonight against Georgia Tech (Georgia Tech blew them out). Mid week game, you never know about pitchers, back ups playing etc... They look to be similar in ability to WSU. I'll say Oregon sweeps them in 3 competitive games.

I do like that the early game is on Sunday, after we have already acclimated to the time change.
