If not the Ducks, who?

I'm always curious to see who would be your favorite team if the Ducks football team were to no longer exist. I've always like Florida State, and if it weren't for proximity, I could see my self rooting for them. I'm bored and was wondering what kind of schools would pop up in this discussion.

I always enjoyed watching FSU back in the early to mid 90s so I'd say them as well. I'd also have to say Wisconsin and Virginia Tech would be up there as well.

I would probably say UCLA because it use to be them USC or Washington... I hated the other two so it made it an easy choice who to root for. Outside of our conference probably be either Michigan... or Florida State.

I would probably agree with UCLA within the Pac 12 (11 I guess) as they seem like the least intense rivalry. I used to like Florida State and Arkansas years ago. :ugeek:

WSU, I don't mind the Cougs....and we share a bitter enemy. I'll get clobbered for this, but I was raised in a Notre Dame household so I've never held he disdain for them that many do.

Easy for basketball - OSU.
Not so easy for football. Probably Stanford.

I know for basketball it'd probably be North Carolina, maybe Wake Forest because of Tim Duncan (my favorite athlete of all time). However for football, I really don't know, I've never thought about it before. Probably Baylor, I enjoy watching them play.

Actually V-tech is up there with me too, really enjoyed watching them growing up. Cool colors, and a fun team to watch.

My favorites out side of Oregon tend to shift a bit. V-Tech was one of my favorites in the 2000s. WVU has been a fun team to watch in the late 2000s, and I kinda rooted for them. FSU has always been a time I secretly liked and cheered for. And of course recently, Northwestern has really become one of my favorite non-Duck games.

I've always liked Wazzu. Especially during the Jason Gesser years, I would root for them a lot (of course except when Onterrio Smith was doing work on them).

Notre Dame though.......
