Well, the good news is that our yeoman like defensive line won't have to go against the most experience offensive lines in the country, save 'SC.
I know that everyone is bagging on our offensive line with its 25 combined starts. I just know that we have recruited very well in the past years with Weems, Charmichael, Cody, & York (all 4* recruits). Greatwood has soom great raw material to develope and far as I can tell he is one of the best in developing the raw material. We have consistently taken 2* high school kids and turned them into good D1 players. Our projected 5 from left to right is: Weems (redshirt So.), Thran (redshirt Jr.), Holmes (redshirt Jr.), Asper (redshirt So.) & Kaiser (redshirt Jr.). Our Sophmores are Weems, purportedly our most athletic OL, and Asper, a 24 year old with a 2 year mission under his belt (I presuming this since he took 2 years off and was from Idaho

). Asper was one of CK's most improved over the Spring. We have the three other 4* guys backing up our starting five: York, Charmichael & Cody. The latter looked very good in the spring game. Also, Ward could be in the mix very easily. He is converting from a blocking TE role. He adds 15-20 pounds and he is a legitimate tackle. These guys did pretty well in pass protection and they were rush blocking for an out of shape Blount, out of position Barner and the mop squad.
Masoli benefited last year from an experience line that brought him along and probably covered up some of inexperience. Our wide receivers had the dropsies, Masoli was throwing errant passes, and somehow we managed to run for millions of yards when that was clearly all we could do in the beginning. This year the passing game will open things up and we will still rush for 200+ yards a game. That is my bold prediction.
