Does anybody know anything? I sure hope its just a rumor

Daniel Padilla's name was thrown out there in a comment box on the RG. Don't know the merit of it, but it's an idea.

MORE players?!?!

Isn't Padilla a back up place kicker? That's not including incoming true freshman Mike Bowlin who would probably be ahead of Padilla as well. This would not be a shocking transfer.

Where was the rumor at/from?

If someone else does leave good riddance, we need players that want to be here and that want to compete!

Losing a OL or DL will hurt the most, so lets hope its in a position we have solid backups!

My guess is that it's the kid that sat out all spring from the linebacking corp. He was highly touted and all his off the field issues have him buried on a deep corp. Rickert said this one would sting the least. So, I don't expect anymore hard to hear news.

That wouldn't be much of a shock though. If Pritchett leaves it would be more than likely because he was asked to.

A guy on another board had called all 3 so far and he said the most shocking was yet to come. I sure hope he is just blowing hot air

Yes, Pritchett, and I don't think there is a big shock transfer if the original poster is going off of Rickert's blog.

At this point Masoli or Thurmond would have to transfer for me to be shocked. At this point I just don't see any of the main guys having any reason to transfer. All the guys that have left so far have had plaenty of reason to take off.

Somebody speculated it was Darron Thomas...Simply cause did not want to give up redshirt year.

Darron Thomas leaving would probably be the worst news possible. I think from a future stand point the coaching staff should be scouring for a JC QB right now. It would add another body and give DT a good shot at getting through this next year RS intact. I know wounded showed what QBs were still out there in a thread the other day, and it looked to be slim pickings to say the least.

Darron Thomas was a Chip Kelly guy. I just cant see him leaving after one year. Especially out of the blue like this. But if theres a rumor floating around that he is thinking of transfering then there might just be some validity to it. It seems like most rumors lately have turned out to be more than just rumors.
