Here's an interview of Collin Cowherd talking some college football. He says the Pac-10 should pay it's coaches more to gain some respect across the country. Doesn't sound like a bad idea I suppose. If Kelly takes the Ducks to a BCS game in 2 years, I wouldn't mind paying him 2-3 million.

Colin: Oh, God yes. Tom Hansen has been the opposite of all the BCS commissioners in that he is not aggressive. Most these commissioners are young and aggressive and have great relationships with ESPN. Pac-10 football feels like they’re playing in Guam. Playing in the Holiday Bowl is great. But outside of SC, nobody ever gets into a BCS bowl. Why does Ohio State, with two losses, get into a BCS bowl, when Oregon ‑ who I would argue was better ‑ not? I think the Pac-10’s management office hasn’t been aggressive enough. Look at basketball. It’s the only major conference not with ESPN in basketball. It’s with Fox. Fox is invisible out here. You don’t get to see an Oregon basketball game east of the Mississippi.

It was 9th in the COUNTRY. I saw the same thing on ducksportsnews and thought the same thing though

Collin's always been a Pac-10 guy. I don't know if any of you remember but he used to be the sports man for KGW news channel 8. My dad is really good friends with him and they talk all the time and Herd says that he wants the Pac to get more national coverage so he has an excuse to talk about it more.

I live on the East Coast and I didnt really have any complaints with the amount of games I got to see on TV. From what I remember I only had to watch the Cal game on justin.tv . I got a few games on ESPN. FSN , and VS. and some I had to watch on OZone. Plus with the games being around a 9 pm EDT start time it was almost better. They were kind of showcase games since there werent any other games on at that time. The more games that get picked up by ESPN the better. The whole comcast deal kind of sucks for people that live in Oregon that dont have that provider, but I was pretty satisfied with the amount of games I got to watch on nation TV.

I don't disagree with his points. But, this statement is a bit much, coming from an employee of ESPN. Just sayin'.

He gave a lot of love to Oregon in just about every question that was asked. Gotta love that!
