I wasn't expecting much, but Bucks got their front court loaded. Bullets paid a lot for Smits.
Magic back to Hornets.

Naa, I had the money and he's raw. Probably a waste but he had good pot when I tossed him off. Raw as hell though.

I have to admit that I have no clue how this works.
My bid for Keith Lee was 2.1m per year for 2 years but he signed for a 1 year 1.2m deal.
My bid for John Salley was 4.6m per year for 3 years but he signed for a 1 year 4.5m deal.
So my bids were for more money and more years and neither took it.

Re: FA Day 1 Results
Keith Lee one is understandable. Guys don't like multi year small deals. I've noticed they'll take 1 year deals over it in probably hope for a long term deal down the road.bellsduck wrote:Me too?Phenom wrote:Struck out.

Shocked you didn't get Salley honestly. Generally when you get to MLE, as long as you are offer more first year then MLE, you will land the guy. Apparently they don't like you for some reason.
