Damn. The injury isn't as devastating as it once was, but it still sucks for him. Wish him a speedy recovery.

Means that 2 of Oregon's top 3 pitchers are out and having to recover from Tommy John. I'm not sure of the team's pitching depth for post-season play after all these injuries. With Irvin and Krook, Oregon would easily have one of the top pitching staffs in the country. Without them, I don't see it being no better than top 20-25.

Yup, makes you wonder what we would have done with Krook or Irvin healthy. But one injury was before the season, and the other was near the beginning. It at least gives us time to get guys like Gold and others more reps starting.

Really sucks for Krook though, such a bummer.

How long of a recovery is there for Tommy John surgery?
