Remember Oregon's 11-1 team in 2000? Was it better than Oregon's 11-1 team in 2001? Here's your chance to vote, as Oregon is the next stop on the "College Football Live" 50 States Tour.
The show will air
Thursday at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. Fans can vote in the best of Oregon poll, and the results will be used in the show.
It's your chance to weigh in on whether Steven Jackson is the best player to come out of the Beaver State, and which team will be the first to win a national title.
The tour began June 1 and will run through Aug. 7, showcasing the best and greatest from high school and college football in all 50 states as well as the District of Columbia.

it's not even over yet, and I have duckbumps.....so sweet.....best feeling I've had watchin CFL since I woke up at six am to catch gameday....if only Jesse Palmer could properly pronounce Autzen!

Not only did Palmer mispronounce Autzen, ESPN also misspelled it on the bottom of the screen while he was talking. There were other issues too. They listed Vale as the premier HS program in the state (WTF?). Also listed Troy Polomalu as having gone to David Douglas HS. And in the "best players to come out of the state" segment they somehow left off Dave Wilcox. I would think being in the HOF would get you on that list.
It was a pretty good show. But little stuff like that drives me crazy.
I'm sure the OAC fans are going crazy. Probably 75% of the show was on the Ducks. I'm sure they've already started an email campaign complaining to ESPN.

Show was totally dominated by the Ducks. PSU got more air time than the Beavers. I am sure they are pissed.

Jerry Glanville's interview was hilarious.

Who does ESPN's research? Troy Polomalu didn't go to "David" Douglas. Vale is Oregon's top high school football program?

Glanville said Oregon and OS are superior to USC and UCLA because they do so much with the resources available...
The CW was listed as the 7th best rivalry in the nation.

Loved it when he called out Notre Dame and Californians

Vale isn't bad at all but historically it's gotta be a school like North Medford, Grants Pass, Ashland, Marshfield, Jesuit, etc, etc since they all probably have a better claim. Too funny about Polamalu and DD though. With him alone they probably would have dominated the MHC. Heck, Owa is the first D1 caliber player to come out of David Douglas in a very long time if not ever (and no, Kyle Bennett walking on at Oregon doesn't count).

That was terrible, and not really even worth watching. Yeah we got more love than the beavers but so much incorrect info it was funny. Espn really worked hard to put this together haha.

I would say Vale has a legitamate claim to being the best football power, if you look at how dominate they have been with such a small town it really is amazing and honestly I would agree with them that they are the power. I would say because they do so much with so much less. I did laugh at the David Douglas thing though that was funny. Also it AUTZEN not OUTZEN haha to good, good old east coasters
