I bet the coaches don't let him skate anymore

He had to stop skating in high school as a condition for his scholarship. Kinda sucks. He could have gone pro. He still might when he finishes with football.

I remember seeing those vids when we were recruiting him. Being a former skater myself....dudes got serious skills when it comes to skating.

trust me, he still skates. he's smart about it though... if you know what you're doing and how to take a bail there's not a whole bunch of risk involved.

Scared me when I came on the board and the rumours of a big shock transfer was #2 from the top and this was #1 I was afraid he had transferred and I hadnt found out yet

Yep, he said he is home sick and will transfer to Portland St.

I would have never known this about Scott Grady. Im impressed. Being a former Oregon BMX kid, Grady is now one of my favorite players.

MB never said he couldn't skate as a condition of his scholarship. He just told him that he wanted him to be more cautious when doing so.
