Not much star power but a lot of our 2-3 stars just took off. It will go down as one of the best Oregon has had imo.

It just goes to prove that you don't need every recruit to be a 4+ when you turn guys who are 2-3 in to that kind of talent. It also shows just how good our coaching staff is.

that class of 2-3stars won a holiday bowl.... usc wins rose bowls with 4+ stars... so yes i think stars do make a difference. not taking away anything from those players because obviously a lot of them turned out to be much better than expected

amazing that we are going to put back to back 2-star corners (Thurmond and Byrd) into the NFL. With the way Oregon plays defense, leaving those guys on an island in single coverage most of the time, it is no wonder they are NFL ready. You would think guys like Mathis, Stephenson, and Hurd would be drooling to come to Oregon and play one on one all game long.

Don't forget Chung and Unger were both 2 Stars...... Great coaching and evaluating by the Duck coaching staff.
