That is such a shitty pic of Autzen, its like an hour before the game and the stands are half full.

Seriously, as for the ranking though, I think top 10 is respectable. Personally I'd like to see Autzen in the top 5, because I believe it is the hardest place in the country to win at.

I think it all depends on the year. When Oregon is in the hunt for a BCS game then there is no tougher venue to face. When Oregon is a 7 or 8 win team then Autzen loses some mystic. Example, 37-10 loss to Arizona in 2006.

IMO, before Indiana played here, it was a much tougher place for an opponent to play...

Funny that the first year I got season tickets was the year we went 5-6 and lost our home opener to Indiana.
Seems like I missed out on the earlier Autzen magic.

I went to the USC during the Fiesta Bowl year and I can remember the sound was just pounding. I then subsequently went to just about every home game from between the 2003 and 2007 seasons as a student and couldn't remember the stadium being loud except for a couple of big games. I think a big part of it is the quality of the team each year but I also think it has to do with the stadium remodel. The sound doesn't seem to stay in the stadium and more fans are farther away from the stadium. Also, they added more seats to the south side, where all the reserved seating is, and they don't seem to be as loud as before even though there are more of them.
