"It feels like a car ran over it."

Offensive Lineman? Sounds more like a truck!

Does this move DD up, or make the Steelers start looking around?

As the Steelers' starting offense practiced against the starting defense, left tackle Max Starks couldn't handle a rush from linebacker James Harrison, the 2008 NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Starks went down to one knee as he tripped Roethlisberger, who stayed on the turf for about 5 minutes.

There was no indication the turf contributed to the injury.

There were concerns about his health last year, so they signed Byron Leftwich, but at that point Dixon had thrown only a handful of pre-season passes. There aren't any sure thing free agent backups like Leftwich around, so we might actually see Dixon quite a bit.
