13-1 in the 8th. Irvin has given up no earned runs through 8, impressive.

uo did a good job of taking advantage of some situations against a quality starter, then we absolutely blew up their bullpen.
irvin was nasty.

Krook pitched a gem, going 6 scoreless innings with 12 Ks. Too bad he won't get the win since Oregon has no offense today.

lost 1-0 in 14.
hard to undersell how bad a hitting performance was after getting blanked over 14 innings, but that was bad. we looked clueless in just about every at bat. the big deal going into the weekend was making adjustments at the plate, but that lasted exactly one game.
a shame. krook, the pen, and the defense were magnificent.

Best starting pitcher rotation we've had since our baseball team has been reinstated?

it's shaping up to be.
we've had some great rotations, though. tyler anderson/madison boer/alex keudell in 2011 and alex keudell/jake reed/jeff gold in 2012 were pretty dang effective. but if we keep this up, yeah, it'll be a rotation for the ages. just hope the bats cooperate.
