As I was thinking "I hope Mark Sanchez does horrible so Kellen can get in", Haloti Ngata picks off Sanchez's first pass and takes it to the house!
GO DUCKS!

.....and Sanchez's second pass SHOULD have been picked by Ray Lewis for an easy pick six, but he dropped it. HAHA.

Beat me to it
Wish I could have seen it, and not just seen it while at work on NFL gamecenter

Clemons just threw an interception for td just before the half

Clemens bounced back nicely. Threw a td pass, and really should have had another TD, but Brad Smith dropped the pass.

God I am tired on how these announcers are wetting themselves over Sanchez,...

Seriously.
Nothing like an SC boy for ratings, though.
But if during the season Sanchez doesn't improve quick, Clemens will get a shot. But when it comes, he better work it.

So much of NFL decisions are based on franchise-ability.

No kidding.. Clemens played better. Should have had 2 TDs. And Sanchez really should have had 2 pick 6s instead of 1.
Yet all we hear about is dirty Sanchez. What a joke!

" Sanchez went 3-for-8 for 43 yards.
He didn't experience success until the Ravens removed several players from the first taem defense."
No mention of Clemens in the article.

I think we all took Haloti for granted when he was here. He was definitely the best defensive player I've ever seen suit up for the Ducks.

Speak for yourself, I think a lot of us were well aware of how privileged we were to have even gained his commitment as a recruit.

Sanchez was named the starter for week 1 against Houston
Clemens needs to step up or he will never be a starter

Haloti's easliy one of the top 10 defensive players in the league...constantly doubled but he still makes plays. Keep in mind that that Ravens Defense was slipping until they drafted him, then all of a sudden they're near the top of the league again.
