beat portland tonight, take 1 of 3 from cal (best team in the league), take a .500 record and start fresh next week.

I also think Cal is missing a couple of key players, so it should give us a small chance (anything that helps we will take at this point).

i know their friday guy sat out last weekend, but i haven't heard if he's expected back. they've got a good staff and we can't hit anybody so i don't know how much it would help us, but i'll take every little advantage at this point.

Well any advantage is out the door when they score 5 runs on us early...
This must be how bad teams feel mid season when they had play against Oregon football during the golden years.

Nice win. If the Ducks can somehow pull out another win tomorrow, it could be the turning point of the season.
