Kelly, Ducks ready to stop talking about Blount

It's time to move on and start preparing for Purdue.
We, as fans, need to stand behind our team and cheer them on. They need our support.

Calling all sheep, stop questioning authority because the Lord has spoken and it is final. There is no atonement for Blount and he is now banished to hell (end of college career). GET OVER YOURSELF Echo!!

He is allowed to finish his degree at Oregon or transfer to a Div II or Div III school. It is not the end of his college career.wiseforexinvestor wrote:echo31 wrote:http://espn.go.com/blog/pac10/post/_/id ... out-blount

If you never play in another college football game that is the equivalent of the end of your college career. Where did you go to school Echo....you should ask for a refund.echo31 wrote:He is allowed to finish his degree at Oregon or transfer to a Div II or Div III school. What part of "or transfer to a Div II or Div III school" do you not understand?wiseforexinvestor wrote:If you never play in another college football game that is the equivalent of the end of your college career. Where did you go to school Echo....you should ask for a refund.

Echo,
I'm not sure what you did to this guy, but apparently he can't read so there is no need to argue with him. I hope the volunteer reading to him will re-read the part about being able to play football in a different division.

I am only further irritated by Kelly's handling of this by his "conversation is over" attitude.
He is the coach of a football team at a publicly funded University, financed by others. This isn't a for profit NFL franchise. If people want to know more about it, the conversation should not be over. And if the purpose of giving Blount such a harsh penalty was to try and end the conversation quickly, that isn't right and I doubt it will work.
If he wants to put up his hand in the face of anyone who has questions about this, he does so at the peril of the support he has enjoyed.

Question and I'll try to move on.......... Does LGB have to wait until the season is over before he can get an agent or can he do that now?
My thought is.............. if Blount has an agent, that guy can keep him motivated to stay fit and in school. Just trying to come up with ways to have a happy ending for LGB. Hope springs eternal and if LGB keeps his eye on the NFL prize, perhaps this all can work out. Just hoping!

My guess is that he wouldn't technically be allowed to be on the team, be involved in scout team, etc. if he has an agent.

As soon as you employ an agent you are not eligible to practice with the team.wheaton4prez wrote:My guess is that he wouldn't technically be allowed to be on the team, be involved in scout team, etc. if he has an agent.
Echo, he isn't going to transfer after the season has already started. I really wonder how many more retarded comments you have in that blob you call a brain.

But he could. And it might not be a terrible decision if he did. Think of the numbers he could put up at that level which would help impress NFL scouts.wiseforexinvestor wrote:As soon as you employ an agent you are not eligible to practice with the team.wheaton4prez wrote:My guess is that he wouldn't technically be allowed to be on the team, be involved in scout team, etc. if he has an agent.

Darn. I was afraid of that. Maybe hooking him up with Washington will give him the mentorship he needs to help him through this.wiseforexinvestor wrote:As soon as you employ an agent you are not eligible to practice with the team.wheaton4prez wrote:My guess is that he wouldn't technically be allowed to be on the team, be involved in scout team, etc. if he has an agent.

wiseforex. I agree with your position on this. But, I don't think that insulting those that disagree with you helps our cause, even if they have insulted you.

Re: Kelly, Ducks ready to stop talking about Blount
You start a thread on how we need to stop talking about Blount....then all you do is talk about Blount through the whole thread. LOL.
